Geely's Zeekr EV: New Luxury Electric Car Brand
Geely's Zeekr EV (ZE: Stands for Zero, the starting point of infinite possibilities, E: Stands for Evolving the Electric Era, KR: Stands for Krypton, a rare gas that emits light when electrified) is a Chinese brand that makes special electric cars.
It started in 2021 and is owned by Geely Automobile Holdings. Zeekr's cars are built on the Sustainable Experience Architecture (SEA), which focuses on electric vehicles.
In 2023, Geely's Zeekr EV had research centers in Ningbo, Hangzhou, Shanghai, and Gothenburg, Sweden. Their design center is also in Gothenburg.
Geely's Zeekr EV moved its European headquarters and sales office from Gothenburg to Amsterdam because more experienced salespeople are there.
